 1. Measuring Principle
 This instrument adopts the pole coordinates measuring principle. The precision main shaft and the high  accuracy encoder generate the round graduation of the measured camshaft, the radial precision guideway and  the linear encoder scan in the radial direction the ascending stroke of the peach-shaped cam corresponding to  each graduation on the peach-shaped cam profile surfaceand then measure the ascending stroke error and  phase angle error of this peach-shaped cam.

 3. Configuration Constituents and Key Arrangement:
 As shown in the Figure below, t
his instrument adopts vertical measurement structure, the measured camshaft  is mounted between the main shaft and the upper center vertically to reduce the eccentric error of the peach-shaped cam caused by the gravity factor. Imported components are adopted for the main parts of this  instrument.

 This instrument is composed of:

 The main unit table: Adopts the granite table to ensure the highly precise installation of the main shaft system;
 The main shaft system: Adopts high precision dense-ball rolling bearing system, imported high precision  rotary encoder from HEIDENHAIN of Germany and servomotor
from Fuji Electric of Japan;
 The measuring column: Adopts granite base, imported precision linear guideway from THK of Japan,  rolling-ball screw drive from PC of Germany, long metal grating from RENISHAW of UK;
 The sliding seat of the radial measuring head: Adopts imported precision rolling guideway from  SCHNEEBERGER of Switzerland,
imported high precision linear encoder from HEIDENHAIN of Germany  and servomotor from Fuji Electric of Japan;

 The computer system: Adopts industrial control computer system with the upper computer for  processing and the lower computer for control, 17"flat-panel display, and laser printer output;

 Thecontrol box for electrical equipment: Adopts 3-axis AC servomotor for control, 3-axis DRO for  data acquisition;

 The measuring software: Adopts special measuring and analyzing software for camshaft with complete  independent intelligent property right.

4. Measuring Functions:
   To measure the peach-shaped cylinder profile surface of each peach-shaped cam (ascending stroke error or    radial error);

   To measure the phase angle error between the peach-shaped cam;

   To measure the speed curves and acceleration curves of each peach-shaped cam;

   To measure the conical error of each peach-shaped cylinder profile surface;

   To measure the radius error of the basic circle of each peach-shaped cam

   To measure the radial jumping error of each shaft;

   To measure the roundness error of each shaft;

   To measure the coaxiality error of each shaft;

   To measure the conical error of each shaft;

Functions of the measuring software:
   Graphic/text interactive ChineseEnglish measuring software on the WINDOWS operation platform;
   Programmable parameter description file function suitable for automatic measurement of various kinds of    camshafts, which is different from the imported instruments that provides measuring software for one kind    of camshaft only;
   Data processing function to correct eccentric errors caused by camshaft installation from either the adjacent    shafts or the shafts at two ends;
  The function of revising the contour line of the peach-shaped cam measured by the blade measuring head, the    ball measuring head, the round wheel measuring head;
   Carry out error evaluation in terms of
various mathematical methods such as the least square method, the    minimum region method, etc;
   Multiple output formats for the measurement reports: the ascending stroke curves shown by rectangular    coordinates and polar coordinates, the speed curves and acceleration curves or every peach-shaped cam, the    superposed phase charts for every peach-shaped cam, the curves of the diameter error and roundness error    of each shaft, the report sheets of the point-by-point ascending stroke data of each peach-shaped cam (up to    4 points for each degree), the synthesized report sheets of error data, etc.

 5. Delivery

   The seller will deliver the goods to the buyer within six months after receipt of the advance payment.
 6. Packaging and Conveyance

  The seller will pack and protect the goods in terms of the state packaging criteria and transport the   goods to the spot of the buyer.

 9. Technical Training

  A 20-hour technical training will follow the on-the-spot installation and check and acceptance of the user.

 10. Technical ServiceChina

  Guarantee period for the instrument is one year. The time limit to respond user’s technical maintenance   should be less than 8 hours. Technicians should arrive at the spot of the user for maintenance within 36   hours and minor failure should be repaired within 24 hours after arrival.
